NextBeam’s 2023 Year-End Milestones

2023 was our first full year of production at NextBeam – and we accomplished a lot! 🤓💪🚀

  • Precisely irradiated 5,738,453 pounds of customer product packed in 218,589 shipper boxes
  • Designed and executed over 115 new product qualification tests
  • Became officially ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 audited to the ISO 11137-1 standard for radiation sterilization
  • Developed and validated processes and radiation-compatible fixturing for special customer processing requirements
  • Made our own engineering improvements to our conveyance system that improve irradiation throughput by up to 41% (depending upon product)
  • Grew our great team (by far our most important asset) by 2x
  • Fully qualified process interrupt functionality, which allows us to preserve accurate dosing to products in the case of almost all machine interrupts
  • Have the lowest scrap rate in the business of < 0.04% (fewer than 1 in 2,500 boxes receives dose out-of-specification)
  • Spoke / sponsored / attended 10+ conferences at the invitation of the FDAFermilab, NNSANational Center for E-Beam Research (NCEBR)AAMI and other great organizations

We continue to onboard great new customers.

If you’re looking for a solution to EO risk and dwindling Gamma supply, make this the year to transition to E-Beam and a future of sustainable sterilization! ⚡🌲☀️
